Eagerly anticipated, the long awaited follow-up to Chin Music hit us with an eight track slam your fist… or your head to the album that is back to basics. Think Superheroes At Leisure. Personal and self-reflective on “Turning Point” and “Bottom of the Barrel” and all out hilarity on “Bodega”, there is even a throwback cover of Sheer Terror’s “Ready to Halt” redone in straight Billy Club fashion. And keeping with BCS tradition there’s breakdowns galore to tear up the pit too. Special mention has to be given to the closing track “The Usual Beat” an instrumental that could easily double as a movie soundtrack or a sticky green jam. Either or it’s certainly unique of your typical hardcore/metal album. The album also has a little bonus for folks with the The Usual Suspects promo and two BCS favorites “Slow With Your Hands” and “Narco Cabron”, a collection of classic show footage edited by none other than Glen “Seeweed” Lorieo (who might we add also edited our NRSV interview).

In parting we strongly advise you to take a moment and check out the albums art work which is just side-splitting, movie covers redone with Martin, Tony, Muttley and Glen, our absolute favorite “Blacks, Whites and Dominicans”.
